The IASR and AFSP have decided to make the 2021 International Summit on Suicide Research a virtual-only event. We had hoped that we would be able to greet you all in person, but we recognize that international travel is still difficult in today’s environment with each country having different mandates for travelers as well as many universities asking their faculty not to attend conferences overseas in person.
We have a superb program of science with numerous outstanding speakers and an interactive electronic poster session using a superb virtual meeting software platform that makes interaction and hearing speakers very rewarding and the material will remain available to you for a time after the conference ends. We invite you to be part of this standout Summit on suicide research. Save the date for October 24-27, 2021. Registration opened in June!

Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death.
